About Chris Craig

Storyteller | Photographer | Advocate for Mental Health

I’m Chris Craig, an author, wildlife photographer, and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling, education, and advocacy. My journey hasn’t been an easy one—I grew up struggling with ADHD, self-doubt, and the belief that I wasn’t good enough. For years, I wrestled with the challenges of focusing, learning, and navigating a world that often felt overwhelming. But through storytelling, photography, and a deep connection with nature, I found my voice. Now, I’m using that voice to inspire, educate, and help others find their own path forward.

ADHD Heaven and Hell

My book, ADHD Heaven and Hell, is a deeply personal exploration of what it means to live with ADHD—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. It’s about the struggles of focus, the burden of self-doubt, and the journey toward self-acceptance. It’s also about resilience, humor, and the creative energy that comes with thinking differently. More than just my story, this book is meant to help others understand ADHD, cope with its challenges, and find the hidden strengths within it. I’ve become an advocate for mental health, working to break the stigma around ADHD, depression, and anxiety, and to provide real, relatable guidance for those who feel lost.

Energy, Wildlife, and Sustainability

As a wildlife photographer and documentary filmmaker, I’ve spent years capturing the beauty of the natural world and telling stories about its fragility. My book, Energy, Wildlife, and Sustainability, explores the delicate balance between human progress and environmental conservation. Through my lens, I’ve documented the impact of industry on nature and the inspiring efforts being made to protect our planet. I believe that education and awareness are the keys to sustainable change, and my work aims to inspire people to care about the world around them.

A Life Behind the Camera

My background in documentary filmmaking and photography has taken me around the world—from capturing the raw beauty of nature to working in the oil and gas industry, producing safety and environmental films. I’ve worked with drilling companies, filmed wildlife documentaries, corporate videos, and music projects, and built a career around storytelling in all its forms. My work has always centered on people, their stories, and the challenges they face, whether it’s in the workplace, in nature, or in their personal lives.

Why This Matters

My journey has been shaped by struggles with ADHD, personal loss, and the fight to find purpose. I have lost close friends to suicide. I have grieved the loss of my son, and I know what it feels like to wonder if hope is even worth chasing. But I also know that hope, no matter how small, is worth fighting for. That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to helping others find their voice, cope with their struggles, and believe in their own potential.

Through Christopher Brian’s Adventures, my books, and my advocacy work, I want to show people—especially children and those battling ADHD, depression, or grief—that their struggles do not define them. That they are capable of incredible things. And that their voice matters.

This is my mission. This is my story. Let’s tell yours.
